Stef Morisi

Picture
Intern
Stef Morisi’s love of puppets, teaching, and inspiring others led her to Puppet Treehouse. Her infectious laugh and bubbly personality make her a good match for the loving and driven people at Puppet Treehouse.

Stef graduated cum laude from Saint Francis College with a B.A. degree in Communication Arts and a concentration in Speech and Theatre. Stef is actively involved with the theatre – both on the production end and as a performer. Stef is an accomplished singer and actor (dancing? Not so much). Her most memorable performances are: Seussical: the Musical (The Sour Kangaroo), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Muzzy), Months on End (Phoebe), and Arsenic and Old Lace (Abby). She was also Program Designer and Stage Manager for the Off-Broadway Production of The Boychick Affair.

She is currently a freelance writer and editor who has assisted in writing professional newsletters, e-newsletters and content for advertising brochures and web sites. She also teaches students ages 3-13 and has worked with Special Needs children and adults for many years. “They’ve taught me more about life than I could ever learn in a classroom.”

In her spare time, she likes to draw, paint, sculpt, play with her own puppets, and read Jughead comics! Stef is super excited to be part of the wonderful Puppet Treehouse family – especially the furry ones!
