Jackie Ross
Architect
Jackie grew up in Laguna Hills, California, with an enthusiasm for life and a love of learning. She and Judy met as five year olds in their Girl Scout troop, sharing a tent and countless ghost stories for many years.
She had always loved school and kids, so she grew up working as a tutor and a camp counselor before attending college at California State University, Fullerton, where she studied Child and Adolescent Development and went on to achieve her credential to teach elementary school. With a love for Japanese arts, she traveled to Japan in 2005 to learn about local culture, language, and puppetry traditions.
Jackie’s unique background in both education and puppetry position her well as a Puppet Treehouse architect, as she continues to consult on curricula development and program implementation.
