NYS Annual WIC Conference

New York State WIC Association's 33rd Annual Conference in Albany, NY, had a unique visit
from the Puppet Treehouse folks!  Founder Judy Greengold was invited to speak on the subject of integrating puppetry and innovative nutrition outreach strategies in the context of WIC centers, sharing the success of existing programming and presenting opportunities for further growth.

Joined by puppeteer and Treehouse Architect Brett Alters, Crackerjack, and Willow Wabbit, the Puppet Treehouse team presented an interactive workshop and engaging dialogue exploring:
  •   challenges many WIC centers face in promoting positive health message
  •    successful
  •   fun and unique outreach tools
Her interactive workshop advocates creative and proactive means of maximizing message delivery and program implementation with a sense of joy and humor.  Special guests will include Puppet Treehouse puppeteer Brett Alters and several of our Puppet Treehouse puppets!
